Throston Primary School in Tees Valley invites applications for a Higher Level Teaching Assistant to start January 2027. The role is permanent, Band 7, 32 hours per week, term-time only (190 days).

You will work to support Key Stage 2 pupils in Phoenix Room II and contribute to inclusive education within our SEND/SEMH provision. The successful candidate will help pupils overcome barriers to learning, foster a caring, safe environment, and work closely with staff to ensure every child makes

The governing body of Throston PrimarySchool are seekingto appoint a highly motivatedand caring higher level teaching assistant tosupport Key Stage 2 children within our additional provision (Phoenix Room II).The postholder will have particular responsibility for supporting pupils toovercome barriers to learning and will contribute to the school's provision forpupils with SEND, SEMH and other additional needs.

Thesuccessful candidate will join our friendly school to help ensure our childrenall have a ‘flying start to success’.
