Job summary

Teaching Personnel are supporting a welcoming Taunton school seeking a motivated Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to join from September 2026. Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) – Taunton

Are you an experienced and motivated Higher Level Teaching Assistant looking for your next opportunity in education? We are working with a welcoming and inclusive school in Taunton seeking a skilled HLTA to join their team from September.

About the Role

We are looking for a confident and enthusiastic HLTA to work closely with teachers to deliver high-quality learning experiences across the curriculum. The successful candidate will support whole-class teaching, lead small intervention groups, and provide targeted support to pupils, helping them achieve their full potential.

Your Responsibilities

Experience supporting pupils with SEND (including ASD, SEMH, or learning difficulties) would be advantageous, but is not essential.
