Castle Hill Infant and Junior Schools in Ipswich are seeking an enthusiastic HLTA to support our PPA and cover team, assisting with learning and children with SEND under the direction of class teachers and the SENDCo.
The role involves delivering whole-class and targeted sessions, maintaining progress records, safeguarding, and contributing to extra-curricular activities. Strong literacy/numeracy and safeguarding awareness are required, HLTA status is advantageous but not essential.
Salary: £31,015.00 FTE (this figure will be prorated to the hours and weeks of work)

We are seeking an enthusiastic and committed HLTA to support our PPA and cover team within the school, alongside supporting children with their learning, including those with special educational needs, under the direction of our class teachers and SENDCo. In this rewarding role, you will help raise achievement for all pupils while nurturing their social, emotional and cultural needs.
This post will be reporting directly to our HLTA Lead, Hayley Macken, and will be based at Castle Hill.
