Woodlands School is seeking a Higher Level Teaching Assistant to work with pupils with complex needs. The post involves planning, delivering and evaluating learning, and supervising Education and Health Care Assistants within the class. It is 31 hours per week over 39 weeks, aligning with term-time.

Experience in SEND settings is highly desirable and an enhanced DBS is required. There is no visa sponsorship available.

The Higher Level Teaching Assistant post at Woodlands School works alongside class teachers to support pupils with complex needs. The core of the role is planning, delivering and evaluating learning for individuals, groups and occasionally whole classes, and leading and supervising Education and Health Care Assistants within the class. The hours are 31 a week over 39 weeks a year, suiting term-time working, and experience in a special school or SEND setting is highly desirable. Visa sponsorship is not available, and an enhanced DBS check is required.
