Looking for a Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) role in Gateshead where your skills are properly recognised?

We’re supporting a number of Gateshead schools who need experienced Higher Level Teaching Assistants (HLTAs) to cover classes, deliver targeted interventions and provide structured classroom leadership.

As a Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA), you’ll be the steady presence that keeps learning on track.

Your role as a Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA):

• Leading pre-planned lessons across year groups
• Covering teacher absence confidently
• Delivering booster and intervention sessions
• Supporting pupils with additional needs
• Maintaining positive classroom behaviour
