Job summary

Protocol Education Ltd in South Shields is seeking a confident Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to support lessons, work with small groups and provide targeted interventions.

The successful candidate will have prior TA/HLTA experience, strong classroom and behaviour management skills, and the ability to adapt to pupils with additional needs, working closely with teachers and support staff. A relevant qualification is preferred; DBS and safeguarding training are required.
