Job summary

Kingswode Hoe School is seeking a Higher Level Teaching Assistant to lead learning sessions for individuals and groups, including pupils with complex needs and SEMH.

The role values proactive and positive collaboration, with time allocated during the working day for ongoing training, access to specialist facilities, and a diverse team that shares best practice and welcomes new ideas. Experience in PE or outdoor learning is welcomed.

Job description

A Higher Level Teaching Assistant post at Kingswode Hoe School, where the team covers MLD, SLD and SEMH provision across primary and secondary pupils. The role centres on leading learning sessions for individuals and groups, including pupils with complex additional needs. Interest in PE or outdoor learning is welcome, and the school sets aside working time for ongoing training. Candidates need an enhanced DBS check and UK right to work, as visa sponsorship is not available.
