The Supply Register Ltd., in partnership with Beckfoot Trust, is seeking an experienced Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to support behaviour interventions at Beckfoot Oakbank in Keighley. You will work with pupils in Years 9–11, delivering structured sessions on behaviour management and emotional regulation, with teacher support available throughout the day.

• HLTA qualification or equivalent relevant experience.
• Experience in behaviour support, SEMH, SEND or specialist inclusion settings.
• Confidence supporting secondary-aged pupils with additional needs.
• Strong communication, behaviour management and de-escalation skills.
• A patient, resilient and consistent approach, with the ability to work independently.

Responsabilités

The Supply Register is working in partnership with Beckfoot Trust to recruit an experienced Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) or Behaviour Support Practitioner for Beckfoot Oakbank in Keighley.

This is an excellent opportunity to join the school's dedicated Behaviour Intervention Unit, supporting pupils in Years 9–11 who experience challenges in mainstream education but are continuing with their GCSE studies.

You will work with small groups of 4–6 pupils, delivering structured interventions focused on behaviour management, emotional regulation and engagement with learning. Teacher support will be available throughout most of the day, although you will be expected to lead short sessions independently when required.

The Role – HLTA / Behaviour Support
