Job summary

Vision for Education is currently seeking a Higher Level Teaching Assistant to join a Sunderland-based school. The role is full-time and temporary, primarily supporting Key Stage 2, covering PPA sessions and delivering targeted interventions to help pupils progress.

You will work closely with teachers to plan engaging learning activities, promote positive behaviour, and maintain an inclusive classroom environment.

The School and Role

A supportive school is seeking a full-time Higher Level Teaching Assistant to primarily work within Key Stage 2. The role includes covering PPA sessions and delivering targeted interventions to support pupil progress. You will work closely with teachers to plan and deliver engaging learning, promote positive behaviour, and maintain an inclusive environment. Strong teamwork, communication skills, and experience supporting teaching and learning are essential.
