£460 - £500 per week (salary is depending on experience and/or qualifications)

The School and Role

On behalf of the Connect Multi-Academy Trust, based in the County Durham area, Vision for Education is recruiting a Teaching Assistant to work on a full-time basis from September 2026. The Primary Teaching Assistant appointed for the role will be working in Upper KS2 to provide intervention sessions in the core subjects (maths and English). The role will involve working with children of both lower and higher attainment. This is a ‘Good’ school, where pupils enjoy coming to school and feel supported in their learning.

Requirements

The desired Primary Teaching Assistant will have;

• Experience of working with primary school aged children
• Experience of working with pupils with SEND
• A passion for the progress of primary school pupils
• An ability to work as part of a team
