Job summary

Vision for Education Ltd is recruiting a Primary Teaching Assistant to work in a Good-rated school in County Durham (DH2). The position is full-time and temporary, running from September 2026 to December 2026.

You will support Upper KS2 pupils by delivering intervention sessions in maths and English, including pupils with SEND, within a collaborative school team. The role offers excellent PAYE daily rates, a guaranteed pay scheme (subject to availability), pension contributions, CPD

The School and Role

On behalf of the Connect Multi-Academy Trust, based in the County Durham area, Vision for Education is recruiting a Teaching Assistant to work on a full-time basis from September 2026. The Primary Teaching Assistant appointed for the role will be working in Upper KS2 to provide intervention sessions in the core subjects (maths and English). The role will involve working with children of both lower and higher attainment. This is a 'Good' school, where pupils enjoy coming to school and feel supported in their learning.
