Job summary

Harris Primary Academy Beckenham is seeking a Higher Level Teaching Assistant to support learning and student development. The role offers a scheduled salary of £26,307.67 to £29,954.93 for 38 weeks per year at 37.5 hours per week.

Ideal candidates will have GCSEs in English and Maths, NVQ Level 3 or equivalent, and experience supporting children with diverse learning needs and challenges in a school setting.

Qualifications

• GCSE (or equivalent) in English and Maths at Grade C/4 or above
• NVQ Level 3, or equivalent
• Good knowledge of a range of learning barriers, including special needs
• Experience of contributing to and assessing provision for children with a range of needs
• Some knowledge of some of the social issues facing students from disadvantaged backgrounds
• At least two years' school based experience as a TA, or equivalent
