Job summary

Eastgate Academy is seeking a skilled Higher Level Teaching Assistant with a PE specialization to support teaching and learning across the academy. This role may include delivering after-school sports clubs for around five hours per week.

You will work closely with colleagues to support pupil achievement and wellbeing, helping to create an environment where every pupil can thrive and access outstanding education.

Qualifications

• Level 2 qualification in English and Maths.
• Level 4 HLTA qualification or equivalent.
• Proven experience of working with pupils of relevant age in a learning environment.
• Experience of working with small groups or whole classes.
• Understanding of safeguarding/Child Protection requirements.
• Confidence in using IT systems and software relevant to the role.
• Good communication and organisational skills.
