Teach Now Limited is seeking an experienced Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) for a full-time temporary role in Barnet, starting 1 September 2026. You will lead learning sessions, support interventions and raise attainment across KS1/KS2 while collaborating with teachers.
Ideal candidates will have HLTA status or Level 4 qualification, with strong literacy, numeracy and behaviour-management skills to support SEND pupils and maintain an engaging classroom environment.

You could be supporting targeted interventions in the morning, working alongside a class teacher to raise attainment and then confidently leading a class or group activity when required.

An experienced primary practitioner already comfortable working at HLTA level. HLTA status, a Level 4 qualification or equivalent experience is highly desirable, alongside strong literacy, numeracy, communication and behaviour-management skills.
You’ll receive a competitive £100–£120 daily rate, valuable higher-level classroom experience and the opportunity to work in a rewarding Barnet primary setting while developing your leadership skills.
