Job summary

TeacherActive is working with a mainstream Primary School in Carlisle that is seeking a committed Primary HLTA for a full-time, long-term role starting immediately. You will support teaching and learning, deliver planned activities to pupils and provide effective classroom support across KS1/KS2.

The successful candidate will hold a relevant HLTA qualification or equivalent, have experience in UK primary settings and strong classroom management and communication skills.

Job Title: Primary Higher Level Teaching Assistant

Start Date: Immediate Start
Salary: £100 - £115 per day

Do you have experience working across Key Stage 1 / KS1 and Key Stage 2 / KS2?

Are you confident delivering learning activities and providing effective classroom support?

TeacherActive is proud to be working with a mainstream Primary School in Carlisle that supports pupils across the primary age range. The school is looking for a committed and enthusiastic Primary HLTA who can contribute positively to the learning environment.

The school is looking to take on a Primary HLTA on a full-time, long-term basis, working across Key Stage 1 / KS1 and Key Stage 2 / KS2. The successful Primary HLTA will support teaching and learning, deliver planned activities to pupils and provide effective classroom support across the school.

The successful Primary HLTA will have:

• A relevant HLTA qualification or equivalent
• Experience working within a UK Primary School
• Experience supporting pupils across KS1 and/or KS2
• Strong knowledge of the Primary Curriculum
• Excellent classroom management and communication skills
• A positive, flexible and adaptable approach
