Job summary

TeacherActive Ltd in Cardiff is seeking an experienced Higher Level Teaching Assistant for a temporary placement starting Autumn Term 2026. You will support across the school, deliver pre-planned lessons and cover classes as required, collaborating with teaching staff to foster pupil learning and development.

The ideal HLTA has an HLTA qualification or equivalent, strong classroom management, excellent communication and a flexible, can-do attitude to adapt quickly in a busy school environment.

• Previous experience delivering lessons and covering classes.
• Strong classroom management and organisational skills.
