Job summary

Tradewind Recruitment is seeking a reliable Higher Level Teaching Assistant for a primary school in Aylesbury, Buckinghamshire. You will support teachers, lead targeted interventions, and assist with pupil progress across year groups.

This HLTA role offers structured daily routines, cover for lessons and opportunities to develop classroom experience alongside experienced staff. A Level 4 qualification or HLTA status is preferred.

Qualifications

• Applicants should have strong experience in a primary school and be confident supporting pupils across different year groups.
• A Level 4 qualification or recognised HLTA status would be advantageous, alongside experience leading interventions or covering lessons independently.
• Structured environment and opportunity to develop classroom experience while working with experienced staff.

Responsibilities

Higher Level Teaching Assistant opportunity, Primary School in Aylesbury, Supporting lessons, interventions and pupil progress.

Higher Level Teaching Assistant required for a primary school in Aylesbury, Buckinghamshire, supporting classroom teaching, targeted interventions and pupil development across the primary age range.

Role:

This position would suit an experienced teaching assistant who is ready to take on greater classroom responsibility without moving into a full teaching role. Working alongside class teachers, you will provide structured support across lessons and may lead planned activities, interventions and small-group sessions.

The role includes:
