Job summary

Bobby Moore Academy is seeking a dedicated teaching support role to work with the Inclusion team and complement teachers in delivering the national curriculum. The post involves planning, monitoring, and assisting with resources to support scholars, particularly those with SEND, and to raise achievement across the school.

The role is permanent, 37 hours per week across 39 weeks (including 5 INSET days) with access to health and wellbeing programmes and professional networks within the trust.

• Support scholars, teachers and the inclusion of pupils with SEND across the school.
• Prepare and manage resources to raise standards and enable independent learning.

You will work under the direction of the Assistant Principal of Inclusion to complement teachers' delivery of the national curriculum and contribute to the development of other support staff, scholars, school policies and strategies. This will include undertaking specified timetabled teaching, working collaboratively with teaching staff throughout the planning cycle, and the management and preparation of resources. This role provides support for scholars, teachers and the school in order to raise standards of achievement for all scholars, especially those with SEND, by utilising advanced levels of knowledge and skills when assisting with planning, monitoring, assessing and managing classes, and helping pupils to become independent learners, to provide support for their welfare, and to support the inclusion of scholars in all aspects of school life.
