Internal Audit (Academic Quality)

Location: London, UK

Type: Full Time, Work From Office, 5 days a week

Position Overview:

We are seeking an expert in UK Academic Quality to join the Internal Audit Department and assist in global internal audits. The position reports directly to the Head of Group – Internal Audit. The ideal candidate will have substantial experience in UK Academic Quality. This is a full-time role involving work from office.

Key Responsibilities:

• Understand UK Academic Quality standards thoroughly.
• Evaluate and assess whether GBS UK meets all Academic Quality standards.
• Conduct internal audits of GBS UK Academics.
• Review the quality and end-to-end processes of the academics department.
• Identify gaps and issues, and discuss findings with the UK Academics department.
• Provide improvement suggestions and recommendations.
• Assist in drafting audit reports.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement recommendations.
• Report directly to the Head of Group – Internal Audit in Noida, India.
• Conduct global audits of the academic departments in other locations of the GEDU Group (12+ countries).
• Ensure high academic standards are maintained at par with UK standards.
• Highlight gaps and suggest process improvements.
• Support other internal audit activities of UK entities as required.
• Work independently with minimal supervision.
• Maintain excellent communication skills for interacting across 12+ countries.
• Be willing to travel occasionally, especially to India.
• Stay updated on education industry regulations and best practices.
