Guy's and St Thomas' NHS Foundation Trust is seeking two Pharmaceutical Quality Assurance Specialists to join their Quality Team. This role offers an excellent opportunity for professionals with GMP knowledge to lead QA services within a busy NHS environment, collaborating with diverse teams and preparing for senior roles.
We are seeking two motivated quality professionals to join our Quality Team at Guys and St Thomas' Hospital. Candidates should have experience in the pharmaceutical industry or NHS in quality assurance.
The successful candidates will work with our licensed and unlicensed units. We are recruiting for a permanent position within our licensed units and a fixed-term (maternity cover) position within our unlicensed units.
This role offers an excellent opportunity for healthcare scientists who have completed the STP programme and are currently in a foundation quality position. It provides a platform to utilize GMP and Quality knowledge and prepares you for more senior roles involving project leadership and staff management.
The QA department supports various areas across the hospital trust, offering the chance to collaborate with diverse teams across multiple disciplines. This role provides a solid foundation and valuable experience for those aspiring to progress within Quality Assurance, working alongside experienced professionals.

Our Technical Services include a licensed and section 10 manufacturing unit with a broad product portfolio, including terminally sterilised, aseptically manufactured, and non-sterile products, as well as extemporaneously prepared dosage forms. Pharmacy Technical Services employs over 100 staff across multiple sites.
Pharmacy Quality Assurance supports facilities across both sites, including licensed aseptic, sterile, and non-sterile units, unlicensed units (CIVAS/TPN and Oncology), and the main pharmacy.
