Job summary

Arcadis in the United Kingdom is seeking an experienced Associate Project Manager to deliver construction and capital projects for Higher Education clients from planning through to handover. You will coordinate clients, consultants and contractors and manage scope, cost, risk and quality.

The role emphasizes stakeholder engagement, bid support, and building trusted relationships to secure repeat business across UK higher education estates.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Project Manager within construction or built environment.
• Experience delivering capital projects, refurbishment, fit-out, infrastructure, or estate development schemes.
• Bid writing, tender management, or account management experience is desirable.
• Experience working with Higher Education clients is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead construction and capital projects for Higher Education clients from inception through to handover and close out.
• Manage project budgets, programmes, risks, governance processes, and contract compliance requirements.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary teams, consultants, contractors, and stakeholders to achieve project objectives.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships, supporting account development and long-term partnerships.
• Contribute to bid submissions, tender responses, and proposal development activities.
• Drive high-quality project delivery, ensuring programme, cost, quality, and risk objectives are achieved.
