Job summary

Arcadis is seeking an Associate Building Surveyor to lead capital works and deliver expert building surveying services across education estates in the UK. You will manage multiple commissions, mentor junior team members, build lasting client relationships and contribute to growth.

You will collaborate with universities, schools and government clients, ensuring projects meet time, budget, and quality standards while applyingMRICS standards and supporting business development within a dynamic team.

Qualifications

• Degree in Building Surveying and MRICS (or working towards chartership).
• Strong technical building surveying expertise with experience in capital works.
• Excellent client relationship and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead the delivery of capital works projects across education sector portfolios.
• Build and strengthen relationships with existing and prospective clients, identifying and pursuing new opportunities.
• Deliver professional building surveying services, including condition surveys, technical advice and asset inspections.
• Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget and to the highest quality standards.
• Mentor and support junior Building Surveyors, helping to develop technical capability across the team.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver exceptional outcomes for clients.
