Job summary

MorePeople is seeking an experienced Restaurant Manager for a high-volume operation in Aylesbury. You will take ownership of day-to-day running, ensuring excellent service, presentation and performance across a team of around 50 staff and a 290-cover site.

Collaborating with the Head Chef, you will drive standards, compliance and continuous improvement while delivering a best-in-class guest experience in a busy hospitality environment.

• Experienced in managing busy hospitality or restaurant operations.
• Comfortable leading sizeable teams within a fast-paced environment.
• Commercially aware, organised and highly professional.
• Strong operational and people management skills.
• Able to maintain high standards while creating a positive working environment.
• Confident implementing improvements and seeing them through to completion.
• A track record of delivering results and improving performance within previous roles.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the daily operation of a high-volume restaurant.
• Ensure exceptional standards of service and presentation are maintained at all times.
• Lead, manage and develop a large hospitality team.
• Work collaboratively with the Head Chef to deliver a seamless customer experience.
• Monitor operational performance and identify opportunities for improvement.
• Maintain strong levels of compliance across health & safety, food safety and company procedures.
• Support recruitment, training and succession planning.
• Drive consistency, accountability and operational excellence throughout the restaurant.
