Job summary

Energy Jobline ZR is seeking a High Voltage Design Engineer in Shropshire, office-based, with a salary around £60,000 plus pension, holiday, health plan and progression opportunities. You will design and develop HV power supplies and HV systems, produce schematics and documentation, and lead designs from concept through manufacture.

You will bring strong HV design experience, knowledge of HV components and insulation, and the ability to test and fault-find HV systems within a defence-aligned

High Voltage Design Engineer

Are you an experienced Electronics Engineer, Electrical Engineer, or Power Electronics Engineer with High Voltage design experience looking to take ownership of complex engineering projects?

This is an excellent opportunity to join a specialist engineering business working on high voltage power supplies and associated electronic systems. You'll play a key role in the design, development, testing, and production of specialist HV products, working across the full project lifecycle from concept through to manufacture.

This role offers the opportunity to work on technically challenging customer-led and defence-related projects, while taking on technical leadership and mentoring responsibilities within a highly skilled engineering team.

The Role

• Design and develop high voltage power supplies and HV systems.

British citizenship and successful BPSS screening is required due to the sensitive defence-related projects involved.

The salary advertised is the bracket available for this position. The actual salary paid will be dependent on your level of experience, qualifications and skill set and will be decided by our client, the employer.
