Inspire Resourcing Ltd is recruiting a Sales Consultant for our client in Chesterfield. The role involves contacting and qualifying leads by phone and email, understanding customer needs and timescales, and presenting tailored proposals to close sales.

You will own the CRM pipeline, maintain accurate records, and collaborate with survey, design and operations teams to ensure a smooth handover. A proven inside sales track record and strong communication skills are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Proven telephone-based, inside or consultative B2C sales experience.
• Strong telephone and written communication, with the ability to build trust and explain technical information simply.
• Confidence discussing value and handling objections.
• A target-driven, resilient and self-motivated approach with a strong customer focus.
• Strong organisation and disciplined use of CRM, pipeline and follow-up activity.

Responsibilities

• Contact and qualify new and existing leads by phone and email, understanding their property, product needs, budget and timescale.
• Explain product options, benefits, costs, available support schemes and the installation journey clearly.
• Present proposals, answer questions, handle objections and follow up consistently to close sales.
• Own your CRM pipeline, maintaining accurate notes, next steps and forecasts.
• Meet agreed activity, conversion and revenue targets.
• Coordinate with survey, design, technical and operations teams to validate information and ensure a smooth handover.
• Set clear and honest expectations on suitability, costs, timescales and customer actions.
• Maintain up-to-date product and market knowledge, and share won or lost feedback to improve the sales process.
