Alstom is seeking a High Level Technician at Old Oak Common. The role interfaces between production and engineering support to diagnose complex electrical and mechanical issues, optimise maintenance, and support data-driven decisions using remote monitoring and diagnostic tools.
You will collaborate with customers, suppliers and internal teams to improve train reliability, manage warranty concerns and implement long-term solutions. Shift patterns are rotating; permanent position.
Appointment Basis: Permanent. Rotating shift patterns.
Salary + Benefits: CIRCA £67,000

As a High Level Technician, you will serve as a key technical interface between production teams and engineering support, ensuring rapid fault resolution and continuous improvement of train maintenance practices. You will be responsible for diagnosing complex electrical and mechanical issues, optimising maintenance schedules, and supporting root cause analysis using industry-standard methodologies. Your role will involve close collaboration with customers, suppliers, and internal engineering teams to enhance train reliability, manage warranty concerns, and implement effective long-term solutions. Proficiency in remote monitoring systems and diagnostic tools will be essential to drive performance and support data-driven decision-making.
