Job summary

Soho House is seeking a Runner to support the seamless flow between kitchen and front-of-house, delivering orders promptly and maintaining a clean, organized service area. You will assist waiting staff and help ensure members enjoy a superior dining experience, acting as the crucial link between kitchen/bar and floor.

In this role you will bring food and drinks quickly from the kitchen or bar to tables, build relationships with members, and participate in ongoing training and meetings to stay

Qualifications

• 2–3 years in a similar high-end dining environment.
• Excellent food and beverage knowledge, including wine service.
• Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills with a hands-on approach.
• Confident, polished, and professional demeanour.
• Exceptional communication and organisational skills.
• Familiarity with POS systems and reservation software.

Responsibilities

• Bring food/drink quickly from the kitchen/bar to its respective location in the restaurants and deliver to members.
• Maintain a spotless, pristine work environment
• Provides service to and is accountable for an assigned section.
• Develop relationships with members to provide personalised service.
• Polishing cutlery ensuring they are ready for service.
• Preparing any additions to tables in advance (preparing lemon wraps, condiments, butter portions etc)
• Perform opening and closing procedures including but not limited to the set up and break down of stations.
• Ensure all service equipment is handled carefully and stored correctly.
• Maintain a spotless and pristine working environment.
• Attending regular meetings with front and back of house teams to learn about any menu changes and specials alongside daily tastings.
