Job summary

Soho House is seeking a Runner to bridge the kitchen and floor, delivering food and beverages quickly and ensuring a smooth dining experience for members. You will collaborate with waiting staff, bar, and kitchen to keep service flowing and maintain a clean, organized dining area.

The role emphasizes guest interaction, teamwork, and attention to detail. Training and development are provided as part of our ongoing staff programme, including regular team events and discount benefits.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years in a similar high-end dining environment.
• Excellent food and beverage knowledge, including wine service.
• Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills with a hands-on approach.
• Confident, polished, and professional demeanour.
• Exceptional communication and organisational skills.
• Familiarity with POS systems and reservation software.

Responsibilities

• Deliver food and drinks promptly from kitchen/bar to members.
• Maintain a spotless, pristine work environment.
• Provide service to an assigned section and be accountable for it.
• Develop relationships with members to offer personalised service.
• Polish cutlery and prepare table adds (condiments, lemon wraps, etc).
• Assist with opening/closing procedures and station setup/breakdown.
• Handle service equipment carefully and store it correctly.
• Attend regular front/back-of-house meetings for menu changes and tastings.
