Job summary

A2Z Driving Service Ltd is seeking an experienced HIAB Driver with Class 1 and 2 licenses for full-time, permanent roles. You will perform UK-wide deliveries, operate HIAB/lorry loaders, secure loads, and maintain meticulous delivery logs while keeping safety at the forefront.

The role offers a competitive salary with overtime opportunities and a Monday to Friday schedule, with potential weekend work. You will work on high-profile contracts and take pride in a dedicated vehicle assigned to you.

Qualifications

• Proven experience securing loads on flatbed vehicles using straps, ratchets, and chains.
• Skilled in operating Lorry Loaders/HIABs.
• Reliable, safety-conscious, and customer-focused.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate HGVs in line with traffic regulations.
• Deliver and offload goods using a HIAB, ensuring load security.
• Carry out daily vehicle checks and pre-trip inspections.

Your Day-to-Day:

• Safely operate HGVs in line with traffic regulations
• Deliver and offload goods using a HIAB, ensuring proper load security
• Carry out daily vehicle checks and pre-trip inspections
• Maintain accurate delivery logs and liaise with dispatch
