Job summary

Elevate Projects Ltd in partnership with a local housing provider is seeking a Technical Officer with HHSRS experience to undertake low-level disrepair inspections across properties in the portfolio. This role offers a clear pathway into a Building Surveyor career within the Housing sector.

The position requires experience in building maintenance and stakeholder engagement, with responsibilities spanning estimates, contract documentation, and data management for sub-contractors and residents.

Qualifications

• Some relevant experience of working in a building maintenance role and HHSRS is essential.
• Experience liaising with external and internal clients, but most importantly, residents, in a diverse environment.
• Ability to prepare estimates, specifications and contracts (to deadlines).
• Be proactive and engaging in relationships with customers and Housing colleagues.
• Record and monitor payments to sub-contractors and apply Schedule of Rates to Sub-contractors work.
• Produce spreadsheets and maintain/update databases.
• Able and confident in production and delivery of presentations to residents and other groups.
• Be proactive and engaging in relationships with customers, contractors and other stakeholders.
