Job summary

QS Recruitment Ltd is seeking an experienced delivery driver to operate from Derby, delivering palletised and cage-based frozen goods to commercial customers across the UK. Most shifts include 8–10 deliveries with minimal handballing, ensuring safety and timeliness at all times.

The role is temporary with potential for permanency for the right driver. Working hours are typically early starts, Monday to Friday, with pay options including PAYE (£16.00) or umbrella (£19.00).

Qualifications

Job Description

No handball runs out of Spondon Derby, palletised Deliveries in refrigerated trucks across the UK, not multidrop. Weekly pay, umbrella rates available if preferred

You will be delivering food across the UK out of Derby no handball required.

The Role

You’ll be responsible for delivering palletised and cage-based frozen goods to a range of commercial customers.

Most shifts involve between 8 and 10 deliveries, with minimal handballing required. This is a straightforward delivery role suited to drivers who want regular work without extensive manual handling.

You’ll be expected to complete deliveries safely and on time while maintaining a professional approach throughout the working day.

Duration: Temporary but ongoing work available. Potential permanent contract for the right driver.

Contract Type: Temporary

Hourly Rate: You’ll earn £16.00 PAYE or £19.00 if paid through our umbrella providerYou have a holiday entitlement of up to 28 days (pro rata).Please note, we cannot offer visa sponsorships for this role.

Working Hours: Monday to Friday with start times are between 06:00 & 08:00 each day.Shift lengths are approximately 10-12 hours
