Job summary

QS Recruitment Ltd is recruiting an HGV Class 2 driver for Nottingham, Monday to Friday day shifts with minimal handball.

You will drive curtainsiders delivering frozen, palletised and cage-based goods in the NG postcode area. Use tail lifts and electric pump trucks; maintain safe loading and unloading procedures. Start immediate; hours 08:00–18:00; 1–5 deliveries per shift; no brand-new passes; visa sponsorship not offered. Closing date 2026-10-08.

Qualifications

• Full UK Driving Licence with Category C entitlement.
• Valid Digital Tachograph Card.
• Valid UK Driver CPC Card.
• At least 1 year HGV Class 2 driving experience.
• No points on licence.
• Licence held for at least 2 years or aged over 25 with 2 years held.
• Experience driving curtain-sided vehicles.
• Experience using tail lifts.
• Experience operating electric pump trucks.
• Good understanding of safe loading, unloading, and delivery procedures.
• Reliable and professional approach to work.

Job Description

Minimal Handball, Monday to Friday work, immediate starts!

We are currently recruiting HGV Class 2 drivers for Monday to Friday day shifts in Nottingham with minimal handball.

You’ll be driving curtainsiders in the NG postcode delivering frozen, palletised and cage based goods. This role does involve the use of tail lifts and electric pump trucks upon delivery so you must be comfortable with these methods.

The expectation is around one to five deliveries per shift with minimal handball required. This is a straightforward role with less physicality than is usually required. To add to all this there is reliable and consistent work on offer.

Hourly Rate: Pay & Benefits:£16.00 per hour PAYE£20.00 per hour via UmbrellaPlease note: Applicants must meet the experience and licence requirements above. Brand-new passes will not be considered.We do not offer visa sponsorship for this role.

Working Hours: This role is Monday to Friday. Start time will be 0800 and finishing no later than 1800.
