Job summary

QS Recruitment Ltd. is hiring experienced HGV Class 2 drivers for regular day work delivering finished products to customers across an established operation.

The role offers £18.00 per hour with 1–5 drops per day, some manual handling, and early starts from 06:00 Monday to Friday. This is a temporary contract with ongoing opportunities and potential progression to permanent roles. Visa sponsorship is not available.

Qualifications

• Valid UK HGV Class 2 (Category C) Licence.
• Minimum 1 year’s Class 2 driving experience.
• Valid Driver CPC.
• Valid Digital Tachograph Card.
• Comfortable carrying out manual handling and handball duties.
• Good timekeeping and safe driving standards.

Responsibilities

• Deliver manufactured products to customers, completing between 1 and 5 drops per day.
• Carry out vehicle checks and ensure deliveries are completed accurately and on time.
• Assist with loading and unloading of goods where required.
• Maintain professional and safe handling of products during deliveries.

Job Description

Class 2 Drivers wanted for regular day work! We’re currently recruiting experienced HGV Class 2 (Category C) Drivers for an established manufacturing and distribution operation, delivering finished products to customers.

This is a straightforward day-driving position offering £18.00 per hour, with manageable delivery volumes and some manual handling involved.

The Role

You’ll be responsible for delivering manufactured products safely and efficiently to customers, completing between 1 and 5 drops per day.

The role involves some handball and manual handling, including assisting with the loading and unloading of goods where required. You’ll need to take care when handling products and ensure deliveries are completed safely and professionally.

You’ll also be responsible for carrying out the usual vehicle checks and ensuring deliveries are completed accurately and on time.

Duration: Ongoing oppourtunity to become temp to perm.
