Job summary

QS Recruitment Ltd is seeking an experienced HGV Class 1 Driver for an established family-run logistics operation in Nottinghamshire and Lincolnshire. You will deliver palletised goods to business customers, with Monday-to-Friday starts from 07:00 and ongoing temporary work that may lead to permanent placement.

You will perform daily vehicle safety checks and complete paperwork before setting out, with no handballing required. Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.

Qualifications

• Valid HGV Class 1 (C+E) Licence.
• Licence held for a minimum of 1 year.
• At least 180 days’ commercial driving experience.
• Full UK Driver CPC.
• Valid Digital Tachograph Card.
• No more than 6 penalty points.
• Reliable and professional approach.

Responsibilities

• Deliver palletised goods to business customers across Nottinghamshire and Lincolnshire.

Immediate starts available! We’re currently recruiting experienced HGV Class 1 Drivers for an established family-run logistics operation, offering regular weekday work and the opportunity to secure a permanent position.

The Role

You’ll be delivering palletised goods to business customers across Nottinghamshire and Lincolnshire.

There is no handballing involved. At each delivery, your responsibility will be to open the curtains and allow the customer to unload the vehicle.

You’ll also complete daily vehicle safety checks and any required paperwork before setting out on your route.
