Job summary

QS Recruitment Ltd. is seeking experienced HGV2 drivers for a Derby-based cash and carry, delivering food and grocery products across the East Midlands. This temporary role offers daily start times from 06:00 to 08:00, with 8–10 hour shifts and weekly pay. PAYE £16/hour or £19/hour via umbrella, with up to 28 days holiday pro rata.

Applicants should have 1 year HGV2 experience, a valid digital tachograph card, CPC, and no more than 6 points on their licence. Visa restrictions are not supported.

• Clean licence with no more than 6 points.

Responsibilities

• Deliver food and grocery products to businesses across the East Midlands.
• Carry out multi-drop deliveries to commercial customers.

• Ensure deliveries are completed safely, efficiently and on time.
• Provide a professional and friendly service to customers.
• Complete all relevant delivery paperwork.

Job Description

HGV2 Drivers required immediately out of Derby, weekly pay and umbrella rate for those interested.

We are currently recruiting experienced HGV Class 2 (Category C) Drivers to work for a cash and carry in Derby, delivering food and grocery products to businesses across the East Midlands. This is a great opportunity for reliable, hardworking drivers who enjoy a varied role and are comfortable with both driving and physical work.

Duration: Temporary work but ongoing for the right driver

Contract Type: Temporary

Hourly Rate: £16 PAYE or £19 through an umbrella provider. You accrue holiday up to 28 days pro rata We are unable to offer visa

Working Hours: Monday to Friday, start times from 06:00-08:00, 8–10-hour shifts
