Workchain is seeking an HGV Class 2 Driver to support daytime transport operations from the Tuxford area. You will be responsible for delivering and collecting goods safely, professionally, and on schedule while representing the business at customer locations.

The role requires a valid HGV Class 2 licence, CPC, and tachograph card, plus good knowledge of UK roads and customer service skills. Day shifts with weekly pay await the successful candidate.

Formación

• Valid HGV Class 2 driving licence.
• Current Driver CPC.
• Digital tachograph card.
• Good knowledge of UK roads and safe driving practices.
• Reliable, punctual and organised.
• Clear communication and customer service skills.
• Previous commercial driving experience is desirable.

Responsabilidades

• Driving an HGV Class 2 vehicle in line with road and transport regulations.
• Completing planned deliveries and collections during day shifts.
• Carrying out vehicle checks and reporting defects.
• Ensuring goods are handled securely and delivered in good condition.
• Completing delivery paperwork and using transport systems.
• Maintaining a professional approach with customers and colleagues.
• Following health and safety procedures at all times.

The role

• Carrying out vehicle checks and reporting any defects or issues
• Ensuring goods are handled securely and delivered in good condition
• Completing delivery paperwork and using relevant transport systems
• Maintaining a professional approach with customers, colleagues and site personnel
• Following health and safety procedures at all times

Skills and qualifications

• Valid HGV Class 2 driving licence
