Job summary

Lanes Group is hiring a HGV Class 2 Drainage Engineer for the Crawley depot, part of a 2-person team covering Kent. The role involves travelling to sites, patch lining, and drainage repair on a 50-hour week with on-call duties.

The position offers a salary of £50,000 OTE per annum, plus 21 days holiday, an health cash plan, onsite parking and a pension scheme. Training and PPE are provided.

Qualifications

• Minimum HGV Class 2 licence and CPC.
• Digi tachograph card required.
• Experience with drainage equipment is advantageous.
• Able to work unsupervised in all weather and follow safety protocols.

Responsibilities

• Travel in two-person teams to residential sites in the region.
• Repair and maintain drainage systems; install patch liners for first-time fixes.
• Use Picote system to clear obstructions and perform high-quality drainage surveys.
• Record job reports on specialist equipment and liaise with clients.
• Maintain health & safety practices, stock and equipment, and on-call duties.
