Job summary

Lanes Group is recruiting a Patching and Lining HGV Class 2 Drainage Engineer for our Budds Farm Depot in Havant, Hampshire. This permanent, full-time role operates in two-person teams on the Southern Water contract, with a 50-hour week and an OTE of £50,000 per annum.

You will patch and line drainage systems, repair and maintain drains, use the Picote system for blockages, survey networks and produce reports with specialist equipment, while delivering excellent customer service.

Qualifications

• Must have HGV Class 2 licence and CPC.
• Experience in drainage repair and patch lining is beneficial.
• Ability to work outdoors and comply with safety standards.
• Comfort with using specialist drainage surveying tools and platforms.

Responsibilities

• Travelling to residential sites in a two-person team around the region.
• Patch and line drainage systems; first-time-fix sewer/drain repair.
• Use Picote system to remove scale, roots and obstructions.
• Survey drainage networks and produce high-quality reports with equipment.
• Deliver excellent customer service and maintain safety practices.
• Maintain vehicle stock and comply with PPE and safe site setups.
• Use VISTEC and Salesforce platforms; liaise with client on progress.
