Job summary

Lanes Group is hiring a Patching and Lining HGV Class 2 Drainage Engineer for the Budds Farm Depot, Havant, Hampshire. The role involves two-person teams, covering a wide region, with full training, PPE, and company equipment provided to meet high safety and quality standards.

You will travel in a van on a 50-hour week, perform patch liner repairs, use the Picote system for obstructions, and document reports accurately. An on-call rota and customer-focused service are required.

Qualifications

• Minimum HGV Class 2 licence with CPC and digi tachograph card.
• Experience with drain maintenance and patch lining is preferred.
• Willingness to work outdoors, on-call rota and flexible hours.

Responsibilities

• Travel in a two-person team to residential sites to repair and maintain drainage systems.
• Install patch liners for first-time sewer and drain repair.
• Utilise Picote system to remove scale, roots and obstructions.
• Survey drainage networks and produce quality reports with drain surveying equipment.
• Record job reports on specialist equipment and ensure safety at all times.
