Job summary

Top Gear Recruitment Solutions has a client in Aldridge, Walsall seeking a HGV1/LGV1/Class One/C+E Driver on a temp-to-perm basis. You will start between 04:00–06:00, drive curtain-sided vehicles, and handle local and nationwide deliveries for general haulage.

The role may include up to 2 nights out per week, paid at 26.20 (untaxed). A valid HGV licence with CPC and tachograph, and no major convictions are required, with flexibility on 2-year experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Holding HGV1/LGV1/Class One/C+E licence ideally for 2 years
• No major driving convictions on licence
• Valid and in-date CPC and digital tachograph card

Responsibilities

• Start times between 04:00 and 06:00
• Drive a curtain sided vehicle
• Deliver general haulage locally and nationwide
• Possible up to 2 nights out per week with rate of 26.20 (untaxed)

Our highly respected client based in Aldridge, Walsall are seeking a HGV1/LGV1/Class One/Class 1/Category C+E Driver on a potential temp to perm basis:

As a HGV1/LGV1/Class One/Class 1/Category C+E Driver your duties will include:

• Any start time between 0400 to 0600
• Driving a curtain sided vehicle
• Deliveries of general haulage to business both locally and nationwide
• Can involve upto 2 x nights out per week paid at 26.20 (untaxed)

The ideal HGV1/LGV1/Class One/Class 1/Category C+E Driver will have the following:

• Held your HGV1/LGV1/Class One/Class 1/Category C+E driving licence ideally for 2 years but we can be flexible within reason
• Hold no major driving convictions on your licence
• Hold a valid and indate driver cpc and digital tachograph card

The successful HGV1/LGV1/Class One/Class 1/Category C+E Driver can expect the following:

• A highly competitive hourly rate of 19.05 per hour (This is rate includes holiday pay) - Paid on a PAYE basis
• A genuine temp to perm position subject to passing a trial period
• Weekly pay
• Local onsite presence
