Job summary

QS Recruitment is recruiting experienced HGV1 Drivers for a temporary trunking role across Nottinghamshire and Lincolnshire. You will deliver palletised loads with no handballing, open vehicle curtains for unloading, and complete routine safety checks and delivery paperwork.

The role starts immediately, with night shifts (Wednesday to Friday, 18:00 until finish) and pay of £16.00 per hour PAYE or £19.00 via umbrella. This position is UK applicants only.

Qualifications

• Must have held licence for a minimum of 1 year, with at least 180 days of commercial driving experience.
• HGV Class 1 Licence, Full UK CPC, Valid Digital Tacho Card, No more than 6 points.

Job Description

HGV1 Night work available – trunking no handball start immediately with weekly pay.

We are recruiting experienced HGV1 Drivers to join a long-established, family-run logistics business delivering palletised goods across Nottinghamshire and Lincolnshire.
As a HGV1 Driver, you will be responsible for delivering palletised loads to customers throughout the local region. There is no handballing involved, as customers will unload the vehicle using their own equipment. Your role will simply involve opening the vehicle curtains to allow unloading to take place.

Before leaving the depot each day, you will complete routine vehicle safety checks and ensure all relevant delivery paperwork is completed accurately. This is straightforward trunking and delivery work with the support of an experienced and friendly transport team.

Duration: Temporary with ongoing work available

Contract Type: Temporary

Hourly Rate: You will be paid £16.00 per hour PAYE and £19 if paid via our umbrella providerYou accrue holiday up to 28 days pro rata.We do not offer Visa sponsorships

Working Hours: This role starts immediately. You will be working on Wednesdays to Friday and the hours will be 18:00-finish
