Job summary

QS Recruitment is seeking an experienced HGV Class 1 Driver for a reliable night role in the Belper/Ambergate area. You will perform pallet trunking deliveries between depots, adhering to schedules while prioritising safety.

No handballing is required, allowing you to concentrate on driving and delivery tasks. The position offers Monday to Friday night shifts with flexible starts between 17:00 and 22:00, at a pay rate of £17.00 per hour.

Qualifications

• Valid UK Class 1 (C+E) licence is required.
• Digital Tachograph Card and Driver CPC are mandatory.
• Previous trunking or pallet delivery experience is advantageous.

Are you an experienced HGV Class 1 Driver looking for reliable night work with a well-established business? We are recruiting Class 1 Drivers to join a respected transport operation based in the Belper / Ambergate area.

This is a great opportunity for drivers who want consistent weekday shifts, a structured workload, and a role where you can focus on safe and efficient driving.

As an HGV Class 1 Driver, you will be responsible for completing pallet line trunking deliveries between depot locations. You will be moving goods safely and efficiently as part of a well-organised transport operation, following planned routes and schedules.

This role involves no handballing whatsoever, allowing you to concentrate on the driving and delivery aspect of the position without additional manual handling duties.

Hourly Rate: This position offers a pay rate of £17.00 per hour.When working through PAYE, you will also accrue up to 28 days' paid holiday per year, calculated on a pro rata basis.QS Recruitment is unable to offer visa sponsorship for this position.

Working Hours: This is a Monday to Friday night shift role with flexible start times available. Drivers can choose a start time between 17:00 and 22:00, providing the flexibility to find a shift pattern that works around their availability.

Experience & Qualifications

To be considered for this position, you must hold a valid UK Class 1 (Category C+E) driving licence, a valid Digital Tachograph Card, and a current Driver CPC Card. Previous experience in Class 1 trunking or pallet delivery work would be advantageous.
