Job summary

QS Recruitment is seeking experienced HGV Class 1 Drivers for night trunking work in the Belper/Ambergate area. Roles offer a Monday to Friday schedule with depot-to-depot trunking and no multi-drop deliveries.

You will perform pallet trunking between depots, carry out vehicle checks, and comply with safety rules. Ongoing work with paid holiday pro rata through PAYE. Visa sponsorship is not available.

Qualifications

• A valid UK Class 1 (Category C+E) driving licence is required.
• Driver CPC Card is required.
• Digital Tachograph Card is required.
• Previous Class 1 driving experience is required.
• Trunking or pallet network experience is advantageous.

Responsibilities

Are you an experienced Class 1 HGV Driver looking for reliable night work, straightforward trunking, and no manual unloading? We’re currently recruiting HGV Class 1 Drivers to join an established transport operation based in the Belper / Ambergate area.

This is a great opportunity for drivers looking for regular, ongoing work with a consistent Monday to Friday schedule, allowing you to concentrate on driving without the physical demands of handling goods.

As a Class 1 Driver, your duties will include:

• Completing pallet trunking runs between depots
• Transporting goods safely and efficiently
• Carrying out daily vehicle checks and reporting any defects
• Complying with road transport legislation and company procedures
• Following all Health & Safety requirements

There are no multi-drop deliveries and no handball involved, making this an ideal position for drivers who prefer straightforward depot-to-depot trunking work.

Hourly Rate: Pay Rate:£17.00 per hourAdditional Information:Ongoing workUp to 28 days’ paid holiday per year pro rata when paid through PAYEPlease note: QS Recruitment is unable to offer visa sponsorship for this position.
