Job summary

Brandfixx Ltd in the United Kingdom is seeking an experienced HGV Workshop Manager to lead a busy workshop operation. You will manage in-house staff, coordinate third-party providers and ensure fleet maintenance, safety and compliance while keeping vehicle availability high.

The role requires hands-on leadership, KPI focus, cost control and strong communication with the transport team. You will own the workshop daily from start to finish, schedule repairs, track parts, and drive continuous

Qualifications

• Proven experience running an HGV workshop.
• Knowledge of PMIs, MOTs, defects and roadworthiness.
• Experience coordinating external workshops and providers.

Responsibilities

• Run the workshop operation and manage daily workflow.
• Communicate with the Transport Manager on vehicle availability and repairs.
• Oversee PMIs, servicing, repairs and MOT preparation.
• Order parts and control costs for repairs and maintenance.
• Coordinate with external workshops and maintenance providers.
• Record labour, parts and costs in the system and report regularly.
• Ensure on-time completion and safe return-to-service of vehicles.
