Job summary

Successfactors in the United Kingdom is seeking an experienced HGV Mechanic to maintain our fleet. You will perform inspections, servicing, and repairs to keep vehicles roadworthy and compliant, working within the Vehicle Maintenance Unit.

The role requires NVQ Level 3 in Heavy Vehicle Maintenance, experience on commercial vehicles, strong diagnostics, a full UK driving licence, and a commitment to safety and teamwork.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 in Heavy Vehicle Maintenance and Repair or equivalent.
• Experience working on commercial vehicles and HGV fleets.
• Strong diagnostic, fault-finding, and mechanical repair skills.
• Full UK Driving Licence.
• Commitment to safety and compliance.

Responsibilities

• Carry out inspections, servicing, maintenance, and repairs on HGVs, trailers, and equipment.
• Diagnose faults and undertake corrective repairs to minimise downtime.
• Complete preventative maintenance to maximise fleet reliability.
• Ensure vehicles meet DVSA standards and company compliance.
• Prepare vehicles for MOT testing and support compliance checks.
• Accurately complete maintenance records and documentation.
• Work with Transport and Logistics to maximise vehicle availability.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organised workshop.
• Follow Health & Safety procedures and report hazards promptly.
• Support continuous improvement in workshop and VMU operations.
