Perfect Placement UK Ltd in Nelson is seeking an experienced HGV Trailer Technician to join a hands-on workshop dedicated to safe, road-ready fleets. You will inspect, diagnose and repair trailers and HGVs while maintaining high safety and quality standards.

Responsibilities

Job description

We are recruiting an experienced HGV Trailer Technician to join our well-regarded organisation in Nelson. As an HGV Trailer Technician, you will support a professional, hands-on team responsible for maintaining a safe, reliable and road-ready fleet.

• Overtime is available at 1.5 times the standard rate, with realistic OTE of £45,000-£50,000 or more.

Duties:

• In this HGV Trailer Technician position, you will inspect, diagnose, maintain and repair trailers and HGVs.
• The HGV Trailer Technician will troubleshoot mechanical faults efficiently and complete repairs to a high standard.
• Maintain fleet vehicles in line with safety, operational and quality requirements.
• Keep accurate records of all work completed.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues in a busy workshop environment.
• Follow all relevant industry health and safety regulations.

Requirements:

• To succeed as an HGV Trailer Technician, you will have proven experience as a Trailer Technician or HGV Technician.
