Paramount Personnel is seeking a highly skilled HGV Technician for a North Somerset workshop. The role is temp to perm with a 45-hour week and pay from £725 to £807 per week, with overtime options.

Applicants should be able to perform comprehensive maintenance, repairs, and MOT preparation, diagnosing faults and ensuring warranty terms are met. The ideal candidate will have NVQ3 in Mechanics; HGV licence is advantageous but not essential.

HGV Technician – Temp to Perm – North Somerset

Rates of pay from £725 to £807 per week with overtime available (at overtime rates)

Location North Somerset

45 Hours per week in a workshop open between 6am and 6pm

Our clients are looking to employ a highly skilled technician to join their business which operates clean, modern and professional workshops and is the envy of many other operators.

You must be able to:

Complete comprehensive and preventative maintenance, repairs and MOT preparation.

Accurate fault diagnosis to ensure replacement parts are fitted correctly and warranty claims are in line with terms.

Maximizing your productive time to ensure all KPI’s are achieved.

Completing job cards and service sheets in a timely manner.

Be able to work on own initiative.

Carry out all work & repairs in a safe & timely manner exceeding DVLA standards.

Detect and diagnose any additional faults for further repair

As a Heavy Goods Vehicle Technician you will ideally have a NVQ3 in Mechanics and an HGV license (not essential).
