Job summary

Paramount Personnel is recruiting an HGV Technician for a permanent role in North Somerset. The role involves comprehensive and preventative maintenance, repairs and MOT preparation in a clean, modern workshop, with overtime opportunities.

You will diagnose faults accurately, ensure correct parts fitting and warranty compliance, complete job cards promptly, and work on own initiative while adhering to DVLA standards. 45 hours per week.

Qualifications

• NVQ3 in Mechanics is preferred.
• Experience with MOT preparation and maintenance.
• Able to complete service sheets and job cards promptly.
• Able to work with minimal supervision.

• Maximise productive time to meet KPIs.
• Complete job cards and service sheets in a timely manner.

HGV Technician - Permanent - North Somerset

Rates of pay from £725 to £807 per week with overtime available (at overtime rates)

Location North Somerset

45 Hours per week in a workshop open between 6am and 6pm

Our clients are looking to employ a highly skilled technician to join their business which operates clean, modern and professional workshops and is the envy of many other operators.

You must be able to:

Complete comprehensive and preventative maintenance, repairs and MOT preparation.

Accurate fault diagnosis to ensure replacement parts are fitted correctly and warranty claims are in line with terms.

Maximizing your productive time to ensure all KPI's are achieved.

Completing job cards and service sheets in a timely manner.

Be able to work on own initiative.

Carry out all work & repairs in a safe & timely manner exceeding DVLA standards.

Detect and diagnose any additional faults for further repair

As a Heavy Goods Vehicle Technician you will ideally have a NVQ3 in Mechanics and an HGV license (not essential).
