Job summary

Elise Search is recruiting an HGV Technician in Warrington to service, maintain, prepare for MOT, and repair a fleet of HGVs, trailers and light commercial vehicles in a busy in-house workshop. You will diagnose faults using manufacturer and generic diagnostic tools, build knowledge of new vehicle technologies, and perform repairs with a full range of technical skills.

The role offers ongoing training and clear career progression.

Qualifications

• Fully qualified mechanic/vehicle technician with NVQ3 or equivalent
• Experience as technician on vans/cars or HGV/trailer
• Full driving licence (HGV licence preferred)

Responsibilities

• Service, maintain, prepare for MOT, and repair a fleet of HGVs, trailers and light commercial vehicles
• Build product knowledge of all vehicle types including new technologies
• Diagnose faults using manufacturer and generic diagnostic equipment
• Complete repairs in-house using broad technical skills

IMI advanced level apprenticeship
