Job summary

Elise Search is recruiting a Vehicle Technician for Guildford in a stable, nationwide organisation with a strong benefits package and clear career development.

You will service, maintain, prepare for MOT and repair a fleet of vans, cars and possibly HGVs, using diagnostic equipment and a range of skills. A full UK driving licence is essential; HGV licence preferred but not required. Training and progression are offered.

Qualifications

• Fully qualified mechanic or HGV technician with NVQ Level 3, IMI advanced level apprenticeship, City & Guilds Level 2 or equivalent.
• Experience working as a vehicle technician on vans, cars, OR as an HGV mechanic.
• Full driving licence; HGV licence preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Service, maintain, prepare for MOT and repair a fleet of mixed commercial vehicles.
• Build product knowledge of a range of makes and models through to HGVs (optional).
• Diagnose faults using manufacturer and generic electronic diagnosis equipment.
• Complete repair work in-house using the full range of technical skills.
